Ryan Homan gets ready for Powerlifting Worlds WUAP
This week we're putting Ryan Homan in the spotlight to help support him at the WUAP Powerlifting Worlds. Here's his story in his own words:
I have always enjoyed working out and lifting weights. In July 2017 I tore my ACL and was in physical therapy till the end of Dec 2017.
In 2018 I told myself I wanted to get into powerlifting and compete. My knee bounced back and I became stronger than I ever was prior to tearing my ACL.
This Oct 17th I will be lucky enough to compete in the WUAP powerlifting federation World Championships held in Chicago IL. WUAP stands for World United Amateur Powerlifting.
I will be competing in deadlift only event. I compete in the Sub Master 35-39 years of age.
Men and women will be traveling from all over the world to compete in this powerlifting meet. It will be great to showcase our lifting and meet other individuals from other countries who enjoy doing the same thing I do.
Every meet I participate in I wear Moxy Socks. They are the highest level socks to hold up for my competition lifts. I also wear them during my training sessions.

We sent him the best socks possible for the weightlifting competition, here they are below:
